Hi everyone! I recently spent some time wandering around Kanazawa’s Higashi Chaya District and absolutely loved the atmosphere. I’m curious though, where’s a good spot to grab a drink or a bite to eat around there? I’m looking for something that really captures the essence of the area, maybe a traditional tea house or a local favorite. Any hidden gems or must-visit places you’d recommend?

Kanazawa’s Higashi Chaya District is truly magical, isn’t it? For a contemplative experience, I’d recommend visiting a traditional tea house like Kaikaro. It’s one of the oldest in the area and offers a serene atmosphere perfect for enjoying matcha and wagashi. Have you considered trying a tea ceremony there?
