Hey everyone, I'm heading to southern Spain for about 6 weeks and I'm curious about the best taxi or ride share apps available there. Are there any local options that work well, or should I stick with the usual international ones like Uber? I want to make sure I can get around easily without any hitches. Would love to hear your recent experiences and any recommendations!

In southern Spain, while Uber is available in major cities like Seville and Malaga, you might also want to try local options like Cabify and MyTaxi (now known as Free Now). They are reliable and often preferred by locals. Plus, you might find that the local apps have better rates in some areas. Have you already planned your itinerary, or are you still deciding on which cities to visit?

Exploring southern Spain sounds exciting! While Uber is handy, I’d second the recommendation for Cabify and Free Now—they’re solid choices and often more integrated with local transport systems. If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, you might even try BlaBlaCar for longer trips between cities. It’s a carpooling app that’s quite popular in Spain and can be a fun way to meet locals. Have you thought about blending ride shares with public transport for a more immersive experience?
