I'm planning a trip to some destinations where drinking unfiltered tap water isn't recommended. I'm looking for a reliable travel water bottle with a built-in filter. Does anyone have recommendations for brands or models that have worked well for them? I'm particularly interested in something durable, easy to clean, and effective at filtering out harmful bacteria and viruses. Also, any tips on maintaining these bottles would be great. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

For destinations where tap water isn't safe, a filtered water bottle is a must. I've had great experiences with the LifeStraw Go and Grayl GeoPress. Both are durable, easy to clean, and effective against bacteria and viruses. The LifeStraw Go is lightweight and perfect for hiking, while the Grayl GeoPress offers a more robust filtration system. As for maintenance, always rinse the filter with clean water after use and let it air dry to prevent mold. Have you considered how often you'll need to replace the filter during your trip?
