Advice Budapest to Cluj: Hotel Tips & Transport Options

I’m planning to spend 3 or 4 nights in Budapest before heading to Cluj, Romania for my tour. Can anyone recommend hotels in Budapest that are centrally located? Also, what’s the best way to travel to Cluj? Should I fly or take the train? Looking for some advice on travel times and comfort levels too. Any tips would be super helpful!
