Hi, I'm flying to BKK to Hong Kong next month with carry on baggage only. I want to take my electric toothbrush but I've heard they can be confiscated due to the pointed tong that holds the brush. Anyone with any info? I could contact the airline but it's not them that decides, it's security. Thanks

You should be fine bringing your electric toothbrush in your carry-on. Security typically allows them as they don't pose a significant threat. However, it's always a good idea to check the latest guidelines from the airport security authority of your departure country to be sure. Safe travels!
