Question Do I Need to Wear Insect Repellent Daily in the Slovenian Countryside?

Hi everyone. I'm planning a 10-day trip to Slovenia this July and will be renting a car to explore the countryside. I've heard mixed things about the insect situation there, especially in rural areas. Is it necessary to wear insect repellent every day, or are the bugs not that bad? I'm trying to pack light but don't want to be unprepared. Any insights from those who've traveled there during summer would be super helpful!
