Just found out that starting in 2025, travelers to the UK will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the country. It's supposed to streamline the process, but it also means an extra step for us travelers. The ETA needs to be renewed every 2 years, and it sounds like airlines will notify you when purchasing tickets. But I'm curious, has anyone dealt with similar systems in other countries? How smooth was the process, and do you think this will actually make things easier or just add another layer of bureaucracy? Also, any tips for ensuring everything goes smoothly when this rolls out?
