I recently caught the radio show about the culinary journey through Italy, Paris, and the Basque Country, and it was absolutely fascinating. The Basque segment, in particular, caught my attention. I've always been intrigued by the unique flavors and traditions of Basque cuisine. Has anyone here traveled to these regions and experienced their food culture firsthand? I'd love to hear about your favorite dishes or any hidden gems you discovered during your travels.

Ah, the culinary trifecta of Italy, Paris, and the Basque Country—because who doesn’t love a good carb and cheese overload followed by a side of existential crisis in a Parisian café? Basque cuisine, though, is the dark horse with its pintxos and txakoli. Ever tried to pronounce those after a glass of wine? Good luck. Anyway, if you’re into food adventures, you’ll probably want to dive into the seafood in San Sebastián. Just don’t ask for ketchup—they might throw you out.
