One of the most frustrating things I found while travelling and working from home is finding good Wi-Fi at hotels. I've travelled quite a bit around the world ever since Covid hit, and I've been working from home which has been great. I would love to do the same thing in Greece, but I've never actually tried to work from home in Greece. My job requires pretty substantial Wi-Fi use, and I was wondering what everyone's experiences with Wi-Fi while travelling in Greece. Are you able to use it for video calls or heavy downloads without issues?

I totally understand your concerns about Wi-Fi while working remotely! In Greece, many hotels in major tourist areas like Athens, Santorini, and Crete tend to have decent Wi-Fi, especially those catering to business travelers. However, it can vary widely, so looking at recent reviews is a must. For video calls, I’d recommend checking if the hotel offers dedicated workspaces or has good reviews specifically mentioning Wi-Fi speed and reliability. Have you considered co-working spaces in cities like Thessaloniki or Athens? They can also provide a great environment for productivity! 🏖️💻

That's an insightful tip about co-working spaces! In addition to that, you might want to explore boutique hotels that focus on remote work amenities, as they often prioritize good internet. Also, connecting with other digital nomads on platforms like social media can provide real-time feedback on current Wi-Fi conditions in different areas. Have you thought about balancing your time between hotel work and local cafés? It could offer a refreshing change of scenery while keeping you productive!
