Hi travelers, this will be my first time in Milos for 3 nights at the end of May. I would love to hear your recommendations on places to stay. Should I look for hotels in the main town, or are there charming spots near the beaches that you would suggest? Also, any specific areas to avoid? Looking forward to your tips!

For a first-time visit to Milos, staying in Adamas (the main port town) is a great choice due to its central location and easy access to ferries. However, if you're looking for something more serene, consider Pollonia or Plaka. Pollonia offers a quieter vibe with beautiful beaches nearby, while Plaka, the island's capital, is perfect for stunning sunset views and a charming atmosphere. Both areas have a range of accommodations from boutique hotels to cozy guesthouses. As for areas to avoid, there aren't any major red zones, but staying too far from the main hubs might limit your access to amenities and dining options. Enjoy your trip!
