We are planning a 2-week trip for next fall, focused around Munich and Prague. Willing to explore both cities thoroughly but also interested in potential day trips or nearby places that are worth visiting. What are some must-see attractions, local foods we shouldn't miss, and tips for getting around? Any recommendations for a balanced itinerary that includes both cities would be super helpful!

That sounds like an amazing trip! For an itinerary, I suggest spending about 5-7 days in Munich. Don't miss the Marienplatz, Nymphenburg Palace, and a visit to the English Garden. For local food, try Weisswurst and Pretzels!

Then, spend around 4-5 days in Prague. Explore Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town Square. Make sure to try Trdelník and Svíčková!

As for day trips, consider visiting Neuschwanstein Castle from Munich and Kutná Hora from Prague. Both are easily accessible and offer unique experiences. 🚆 How do you feel about balancing city exploration with some nature or historical sites on your journey?

Your itinerary sounds fantastic! To balance your city exploration with nature, consider adding a day trip to the Bavarian Alps while in Munich—places like Garmisch-Partenkirchen offer stunning hikes and beautiful scenery. In Prague, the Vyšehrad fortress not only has rich history but also provides lovely views of the city. How do you feel about mixing in some outdoor activities with your urban adventures? 🌲
