I'm a senior male in good physical and mental condition, and I'm planning a trip for Spring '25. I'm experienced in European travel and speak some French, but I'm also considering venturing into Northern Spain, Portugal, or the Italian Tyrol. What are the must-see spots and hidden gems in these areas during spring? Any tips on how to make the most of this trip would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your insights!

Spring in France and beyond sounds like a fantastic adventure! For France, don’t miss the Loire Valley for its stunning chateaux and blooming gardens. In Northern Spain, the Picos de Europa National Park offers incredible hikes and views, while Porto in Portugal is perfect for wine lovers and charming riverside walks. If you head to the Italian Tyrol, the Dolomites are breathtaking in spring. Since you’re experienced, have you thought about combining train travel with some scenic drives to explore these regions more flexibly?
