I've always wanted to visit Russia, but given the current political climate, I'm hesitant about how my travel might indirectly support the government. I'm not looking to discuss politics while there, but I do want to minimize my financial contribution to the state. Does anyone have tips on how to travel responsibly in Russia? Maybe focusing on small businesses or specific regions that are less tied to government funding? Any advice on navigating this would be really helpful.
